We will prepare and make the necessary application to the Court to seek a Court Order that the Company may be restored. During this process we will liaise with both the Treasury and Companies House. At the end of a successful company restoration process, usually 6 - 8 weeks - the company will be treated in law as if it had never been dissolved.
The most common scenario for a company being struck off the register is for non-filing of annual returns or accounts. When a company is dissolved any assets held by the dissolved company become ‘Bona Vacantia’. The term ‘Bona Vacantia literally means vacant goods and is the legal name for ownerless property which by law passes to the Crown.
